The list of countries eligible for e-visa issuance to Mongolia

In connection with the decision of the Government of Mongolia to declare 2023-2025 as the “Years to visit Mongolia,” the Cabinet has made a decision to temporarily exempt from visa requirements the nationals of 34 countries, such as European countries, Australia, and New Zealand. In this regard, the list of countries eligible for e-visa issuance has been updated, now e-visas can be issued to citizens of 99 countries. Specifically, citizens of the countries included in the list can apply online for "K2" tourism, "K4" sports and cultural activities for up to 30 days, and transit or 10-day "K6" classification of visas. To apply for an e-visa, go to https://evisa.mn/, fill out the visa application form accurately and completely, and pay the e-visa fee. The visa application documents will be reviewed, and if the application is approved the ETA /Electronic Travel Authorization/ will be sent to your e-mail address within 48 hours. Since October 2021, the Immigration Agency of Mongolia has issued e-visas to more than 9,000 foreign nationals.
